An upcycle of an upcycle — truly one of a kind.
This crossbody bag is crafted from leftover fabric that was originally used to create overalls from vintage tairyō-bata (Japanese fisherman’s flags).
I layered it with retro tenugui textiles and treated it with persimmon tannin dye (kakishibu) to bring out a rich, nostalgic texture.
👜 Lightweight and practical, with an inner pocket for everyday use.
It carries the warmth of handcraft and a hint of vintage charm.
